OFFICIAL START 2023

At Avakasha, our journey began with a simple observation: while some of us secured placements after graduation, many of our peers struggled to find opportunities. We saw firsthand the stress, uncertainty, and lack of confidence that came with repeated rejections and unanswered applications. Despite using popular job platforms and seeking referrals, many talented individuals found themselves at a standstill, unsure of their next steps and burdened by conflicting advice.

We realized that for many, landing a job is not just about personal achievement—it’s about supporting families, breaking cycles of hardship, and fulfilling dreams. Yet, the job market often favors experience over fresh talent, making it even harder for newcomers to get a foot in the door. Even those with jobs often seek better opportunities, leading to widespread job dissatisfaction.

Recognizing the life-changing power of employment, we set out to make a difference. Our mission is to guide, support, and empower individuals at the start of their careers, helping them realize their aspirations and create a ripple effect of positive change. We believe that by helping one person secure a job, we can impact many lives and build a chain of opportunities.

In 2023, we officially launched AVAKASHA—meaning “opportunity” in Kannada—to be that stepping stone for fresh graduates and professionals. The challenges brought on by the lock-down made it clear that the job market needed a new approach. We saw how demanding job requirements and a focus on experience left many discouraged, especially when even entry-level roles required years of experience.

Our goal is to break this cycle. We connect companies with qualified, motivated candidates and offer flexibility for both employers and job seekers—whether it’s for permanent, temporary, or project-based roles. We take pride in matching the right person with the right job, making the process seamless and meaningful for everyone involved.
